Wet Drum Magnetic Separator
Wet Drum Magnetic Separator is a widely used magnetic separator for iron ore benefaction.
Different versions of WDMS matched different applications.
For example, proportion of magnetic particles, grain size, throughput and so on.

EJET WDMS (wet low intensity magnetic separators) are used especially requisite in heavy media operations, slurry ore processing, iron ore.
Firstly, it can automatic recovery of magnetite or ferrosilicon and concentration of ferrous and weakly magnetic ores.
Secondly, it can be both the avoidance of unwanted harmful iron particles and the recovery of valuable iron particles.
Principle :
Three different versions of EJET Wet drum magnetic separator systems(CTN type-counterrotation, CTS type-concurrent, CTB type-countercurrent) are all eccentrically. Our wet drum separators CTN type(counterrotation) achieve a high recovery rate of 99%.
- Grain sizes between 0.1mm-6mm
- Used in the processing of magnetite or ferrosilicon (FeSi) from sink/float separation and wet processing of fine grains
Structure :
The wet drum magnetic separator consists of a rotating magnetic drum disposed in a tank for receiving a flow slurry of a mixture of magnetic and non-magnetic particles . Slurry is fed to the tank and subsequently flows through the magnetic field generated by the drum. The ferromagnetics are attracted to the drum shell by the magnetic circuit and are rotated out of the slurry stream. The ferromagnetics discharge from the drum shell when rotated out of the magnetic field.

All types of equipment receive a complete Ejet engineer’s inspection before delivery. Including magnetic field strength at each part of the WDMS surface, and equipment appearance. Most importantly, Our wet drum magnetic separators all undergo an inspection by the different operating in the Ejet-testing plant for 4-8 hours to assure efficient operation.
